Web Design Internship

Candidate is exclusively responsible for the execution of the list of duties assigned by the SPYS Presidency, and therefore required to allocate most of their internship time during afternoons, evenings and some Saturdays.

Interns will work on more than one project at the SPYS Studio, often with deadlines that must be met. Consequently, all interns are expected to attend a weekly intern staff meeting in order to communicate and stay on schedule with their assigned tasks.
SPYS STUDIO
The position description is as follows:
limited answering Phones, Typing, Filing, advanced e-mail techniques, basic math skills and computer skills.
Web Design and Publishing using CuteSite Builder , Flash and/or Dreamweaver
Interns will also assist in other aspects of Television and Video Production for Broadcasting.
Attend a weekly intern staff meeting
Creative and Artistic Talent
The appropriate candidate must be willing to learn and take directions well. Willing to learn multi-media software and strive to be excellent at each project and assignment. A good candidate will look and behave professionally and be on time and reliable.

Interns should have a knowledge the software listed below.  It is not necessary to be an expert at all of them.

+ Dreamweaver
+ Microsoft Office / IBM Environment
+ Photoshop
+ HTML
+ Microsoft Word

Applicant will be trained on CuteSiteBuilder, no prior experience is necessary on this program.
Job Requirements:
* Can pass a drug test
* Can work 12 - 20 hours a week, occasional weekends when needed.
* Can lift 25 pounds
* Has reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
* Good organization skills
* Understands and meets time lines and due dates
* Be able to listen and perform to creative direction
* Must be a team player - working well with others
